Viboyo Oweyo has announced his intentions to transition from music to politics, aiming to make an impact within the National Unity Platform (NUP).

In an interview with a Sanyuka TV, Viboyo revealed his active involvement with the NUP’s base in Kavule and his aspirations for a political role in the upcoming 2026 general elections.

The singer was recently seen receiving his NUP membership card from the party’s president, Bobi Wine, signalling his loyalty to the political journey.
