SuperSport viewers on DStv and GOtv can look forward to group stage, Matchday 1 action from the 2024 UEFA European Championship qualification on Saturday 25 March 2023.

DStv and GOtv is the only true home of football in Africa, offering a range and depth of action that no other rival can match – it’s literally ‘Unbeatable Football’! If you’re going to spend your money on something, it may as well be on the best football in the world.

The pick of matches on Saturday 25 March comes from Group A, with Spain and Norway meeting at La Rosaleda in Malaga. La Furia Roja sacked Luis Enrique in the wake of the 2022 World Cup and appointed Luis de la Fuente in his place.

The new Spain boss is hoping to make a strong start: “We have a talented squad, many players who are capable of making the difference in a single moment in a match,” said de la Fuente. “But it is my job to create a harmony and consistency for these players to thrive. We have hard work and a long journey ahead of us.”

Another key clash on Saturday sees Croatia take on Wales in a Group D match at the Poljud Stadium in Split. The Dragons need to move toward a younger team following the retirements of Joe Allen and Gareth Bale.

In Swansea youngster Ollie Cooper they have a player who is full of promise and potential, according to Allen: “I think Ollie has every chance of being in the squad and contributing for Wales. He came away with us at the World Cup, and really impressed.

“It was a great experience for him, it was great for him to be around it but also for the Welsh staff to see him day in and day out. I know they could not speak highly enough about Ollie, I think as a player he has shown how good he is this season. He has become really important for us, he has a great character and personality, and he has got all the makings of being a big player for Wales.”

Saturday will also feature Scotland hosting Cyprus, Turkey visiting Armenia, Belarus tackling Switzerland, Kosovo visiting Israel and Andorra playing host to Romania.

No rival can compete with SuperSport’s coverage. Our viewers on DStv and GOtv enjoy an unrivalled selection of football from around the world!
