    Storm Freddy: Malawi services ‘trying their best’

    Malawi police services are ‘trying their best’ as at least 200 people die as a result of Storm Freddy.

    The Malawi government have declared a state of emergency and commercial hub, Blantyre, has recorded most of the deaths.

    Peter Kalaya, from Malawi Police Service, spoke to Focus on Africa’s Bola Mosuro.
