Alfonso Mukasa, popularly known as Promoter Bajjo, has made a bold move by returning to school after a 15-year hiatus.

The renowned event promoter has enrolled at Makerere University Business School (MUBS) to further his education, a decision he says he is thrilled about and believes will shape a brighter future for him.

Bajjo, who has been out of the classroom for over a decade, is excited to embark on this new chapter of his life.

On his first day at MUBS, he invited members of the media to witness his return to academic life, underscoring his commitment to his studies. He emphasized that this decision is not just a fleeting idea but a serious step toward personal growth and development.

A dedicated supporter of the National Unity Platform (NUP), Bajjo credits his motivation to pursue further education to his party leader, Bobi Wine.

Bobi Wine, who recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in law, inspired Bajjo to follow a similar path. For Bajjo, the power of education is undeniable, having observed its impact firsthand through his interactions with diverse people in various places.

Despite the potential for being laughed at by younger classmates, Bajjo remains unfazed. He is well aware of why he is back in school and is determined to make the most of this opportunity.

I am back to school; you people should wait for me as I graduate. I have grown up and I know the power of education, and no one can tell me otherwise. I am going to study hard and get my first-class degree, then we’ll see how it goes.
