One dead as Speeding Mercedes rams into parked cars on Ggaba Road
Police in Kabalagala have confirmed the death of a driver of a speeding Mercedes Benz that lost control and rammed into several parked cars on Ggaba Road.
The incident happened on Wednesday afternoon when the unidentified driver failed to negotiate a sharp corner at Kabalagala Police Station causing him to hit cars parked on the side. He was in the company of another occupant who sustained grave injuries.

According to ASP Faridah Nampiima, the Mercedes Benz UBG 811C was traveling from Ggaba towards Kampala at a high speed.
“It’s alleged that driver (yet to be identified) who died on spot was driving from Gabba side heading to Kampala on a high speed, but failed to negotiate the corner at Kabalagala Police Station, lost control, hit parked vehicles at the Station, killing him instantly and seriously injuring the co-driver.” Nampiima
She says the body of the deceased was conveyed to Mulago City mortuary for postmortem examination while the injured victim is admitted at Nsambya Hospital for treatment.
