An investigation has been opened by Kampala police into the circumstances surrounding the man’s mysterious death in a lodge, early on Tuesday .

According to reports, Mugaga Livingstone, the deceased, passed away at Wave Inn Lodge under unclear circumstances.

Luke Owoyesigyire, the Kampala Metropolitan Deputy Police Spokesman, reports that the event happened at approximately six in the morning. He adds that the deceased’s body was transported to the lodge’s compound by the lodge staff before they quickly fled the scene.

Owoyesigyire explains that as part of their ongoing investigation, police are currently looking for the lodge attendants and management to question. He further reveals that to ascertain the cause of death, the body has been moved to the City Mortuary Mulago for a postmortem examination.

Locals who spoke on condition of anonymity, claim that the deceased was recovered nude from the rented room and was seen with a number of unidentified female at a nearby bar, the day before his demise. They however, cant confirm whether he fetched any of the babes to his room.
