Prominent Ugandan social activist, motivational speaker, and entrepreneur Frank Malingumu Gashumba has shared his opinion on why rapper Gravity Omutujju’s concert failed to draw a large crowd last weekend.

Gashumba pointed to the rapper’s choice of the song “Embaga Ya Isma Ne Amina” as the main reason for the low turnout.

According to Gashumba, the song that headlined the concert was not well-known among the public, unlike Gravity’s previous hits.

Gravity’s show flopped for only one reason: the song he was promoting, ‘Embaga Ya Isma Ne Amina’, was not prominent in the public,” Gashumba said during a recent radio interview.

The event, held at Lugogo Cricket Oval, one of Uganda’s largest concert venues, marked a significant setback for Gravity Omutujju, who had never experienced such a failure in his music career.

The concert reportedly saw one of the lowest attendance records for the venue, despite the rapper’s previous success.

It was an unfortunate moment for Gravity Omutujju, whose fans were used to seeing him headline more successful shows.

Gashumba’s remarks have added further insight into what went wrong for the rapper, suggesting that the selection of a less popular song led to the disappointing outcome.
