Rickman Manrick, a well-known singer, has not completely abandoned his football career.
Recently, he revealed that he was unable to officially join the Uganda Super League giant, KCCA FC, despite training with them. The reason was that he did not have a national ID.
A few years ago, Rickman decided to put his professional football career on hold after sustaining a serious knee injury in Sweden, where he was playing at the time.
Following his injury, he relocated back to Uganda to focus fully on his musical career.
This decision has proven successful for Rickman. He has released many hit songs, including “Swiriri” featuring Kapeke, “Ebango,” “Tunyumirwe,” and “Enjoyment” featuring Eddy Kenzo.
These songs have earned him a place on reputable global music platforms and have garnered several awards.
Rickman’s ability to balance his passion for both music and football showcases his dedication and talent in both fields.
