Renowned Ugandan singer Mikie Wine has attributed the success of his recent concert to his wife, Poline Mukyaaya.

In a televised interview, Mikie Wine expressed deep gratitude for her support, acknowledging that she played a key role in making the concert a reality after several years of postponement.

My wife is the reason why my concert took place. She helped me a lot. She is the reason why we are all smiling now,” Mikie Wine stated during the interview.

The singer’s Tusabaale concert, held at Jahazi Pier in Munyonyo, was well-received, drawing significant attendance.

It outshone a competing event by fellow artist Gravity Omutujju, who performed the same day at Lugogo Cricket Oval.

Despite both concerts being held on the same night, Mikie Wine’s event was considered a success.

The artist’s acknowledgment of his wife’s support highlights the role of family in his music career and personal achievements.
