Rapper Gravity Omutujju recently revealed why he did not visit National Unity Platform (NUP) President and fellow musician Bobi Wine, who was hospitalized after sustaining injuries.
Bobi Wine was injured during a scuffle with the police in Bulindo, where a tear gas canister hit him at close range, resulting in a wound on his leg.
The incident occurred as Bobi Wine was returning from a Thanksgiving ceremony.
Several notable personalities, including musicians like Lil Pazo, Nina Roz, and King Saha, paid Bobi Wine a visit in the hospital.
However, Gravity Omutujju’s absence sparked questions, prompting an interviewer to ask him why he didn’t check on Bobi Wine.
In response, Gravity Omutujju explained that he saw no reason to visit Bobi Wine as they are not friends and have never communicated.
“If we were friends, I would have gone, but since we don’t talk and have no relationship, I don’t see the point of visiting him,” he said.
The rapper also recalled a time when he was sick, stating that Bobi Wine neither called him nor visited him during that period.
While Omutujju acknowledged this, he stressed that it wasn’t the main reason for his decision not to visit.
“It’s not about him not calling me when I was sick; the truth is we simply have no relationship,” Omutujju clarified.
