Veteran radio presenter and event MC Omulangira Ndausi, a close friend of Bebe Cool, opened up about the longstanding feud between Ugandan music heavyweights Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool.
The conflict, which has spanned over a decade, is well-known in Uganda’s entertainment circles.
Ndausi’s insights confirm that the tension between the two artists is genuine and not a mere publicity stunt as some may have speculated.
Ndausi shared a personal story that reflects at the deep-rooted nature of the beef.
He recounted an incident where Bebe Cool’s son, Alpha, suffered an eye problem. Rather than reaching out to Bebe Cool directly, Bobi Wine chose to convey his well wishes through Ndausi.
The veteran presenter also delved into the origins of Fire Base crew. According to Ndausi, it was actually Bebe Cool and Toolman Kibalama who originally started Fire Base.
However, due to conflicts coming from the fact that Bobi’s brother, Eddy Yawe, owned Dream Studios, Bebe Cool and Toolman eventually parted ways, leaving Bobi Wine to take over Fire Base.
