According to Sheebah Karungi, Winnie Nwagi is one of the few Ugandan artists that standout for her from whom she picks so much inspiration.
Apart from her controversial moments, Swangz Avenue star Winnie ‘Nwagi’ Nakanwagi commands much respect from several industry players including fellow artists.
While speaking to the media before her performance in Rwanda, Sheebah Karungi took the opportunity to cast a light upon Nwagi’s talent.
Queen Karma noted how the self-styled Firebaby is vastly talented and how her energetic performances are stuck on her mind.
Sheebah’s performances are characterised by energy and sass, and she believes Nwagi is one of the few artists who showcase that at a high level.
She also noted that she picks inspiration from other foreign artists of the kind including Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, and Beyonce.
I love performers, people who know how to entertain the crowd. I love people who keep me on my toes. In Uganda, Winnie Nwagi. Each and every artist has a little bit of something that I love about them but it is the performing aspect of it. Because I can listen to your song at home but what can I do when I find you in the stadium, can you entertain me, can I feel good, are you looking good?
Sheebah went on to put on an impressive performance to remember for her fans in Kigali.
