Shakib Cham has voiced his frustration with his wife, Zari Hassan, accusing her of failing to protect him from public embarrassment compared to how Rema Namakula handles her relationship with her ex-partner and baby daddy, Eddy Kenzo.
In a conversation with a YouTuber, Shakib expressed his disappointment, comparing Zari’s behavior with singer Rema Namakula, who has maintained her partner’s dignity despite her high-profile past relationship with Eddy Kenzo.
Shakib’s grievances come from what he perceives as a lack of respect from Zari, particularly in how she handles their public image.
He feels that Zari’s actions have subjected him to ridicule, with many on the internet branding him with derogatory names and insinuating that he is financially dependent on her.
Drawing a comparison to Rema Namakula, Shakib mentioned how she handled her relationship with Dr. Hamza Ssebunya with utmost care and respect.
Despite sharing a child with Eddy Kenzo, Rema has never publicly embarrassed Dr. Ssebunya. Since beginning her relationship with Dr. Ssebunya, she has avoided public interactions with Kenzo and only mentions him when necessary during interviews.
He says he feels hurt by the public’s perception of him and wishes for a partnership where his dignity is upheld, much like Rema and Dr. Ssebunya’s relationship.
