Kalifah AgaNaga has publicly defended Eddy Kenzo, the President of the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF), against accusations regarding the handling of government funds.

AgaNaga emphasized that Kenzo has made significant efforts to support and uplift fellow musicians, asserting that the financial assistance artists have received is largely due to Kenzo’s influence and leadership.

AgaNaga urged the public and the music industry to recognize and appreciate Kenzo’s contributions, particularly his role in promoting lesser-known artists and adding value to the Ugandan music scene.

He highlighted that Kenzo, who established the UNMF a year ago, has faced criticism from some quarters, with detractors accusing him of withholding money intended for other musicians.

Despite these accusations, AgaNaga believes that the negative perceptions of Kenzo stem from jealousy and a desire to undermine his achievements.

People should focus on the positive impact Kenzo has had on the industry. He has done a lot of good for artists, and the accusations of stealing money are baseless. Instead of criticizing him, we should appreciate the value he is bringing to the music community.
